Into the Wild: Unforgettable Journey of MeeraThrough Patagonia: Dream It Travel It No. 24
Meera had always longed for an adventure that took her to the edge of the world, and Patagonia, a land of rugged landscapes and untamed beauty, was the perfect destination. Divided between Chile and Argentina, this remote paradise welcomed her with snow-capped peaks, turquoise lakes, and expansive glaciers.
Her journey began in Torres del Paine National Park (Chile), where she hiked the famous W Trek. As she ascended towards the granite towers, she was met with breathtaking views of azure lakes, golden grasslands, and the majestic Torres del Paine peaks towering above.
Next, she ventured into Los Glaciares National Park (Argentina) to witness the grandeur of Perito Moreno Glacier. The massive ice formation, constantly shifting and calving into the water, was a spectacle unlike any other. She took a boat ride close to the glacier, mesmerized by the deep blue hues and thunderous crashes of ice falling into the lake.
One of the most surreal experiences of her trip was trekking on the Fitz Roy Trail in El Chaltén. The jagged peaks of Mount Fitz Roy stood tall against the sky as Meera braved the challenging hike to Laguna de los Tres. The emerald lake, reflecting the towering peaks, made every step worth it.
To complete her Patagonian adventure, Meera visited Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, also known as the “End of the World.” She cruised through the Beagle Channel, spotting playful sea lions, graceful albatrosses, and even a few penguins.
